Born in Rome, Italy, Marialuisa is half Jamaican, half Italian, living in NYC – Upper West Side. She studied narrative folklore and storytelling at the New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study and you'll find her at bookstores, museums, galleries, and especially libraries. She works as an events assistant at the New York Society Library, the oldest library in NYC and wants to travel the world collecting folktales. Her pride and joy is Winston, her Australian Shepherd forever pup.
